Visibility: Ensure your race number (bib) is always clearly visible on the front of your attire. The timing chip (B-Tag) is affixed to the back of your bib. To guarantee precise timing, avoid folding, wrinkling, or covering your bib with any clothing, belts, or accessories. Failure to properly display your bib may result in your finish and split times not being recorded.
Emergency Information: The back of your race number must be filled out with the emergency contact details of a close family member residing in Manila. In case your bib is lost, re-registration is required. Only runners with official race numbers will be permitted to participate.
Non-Transferable: Race numbers are strictly personal and non-transferable. Selling or giving your race number to another person is prohibited. Any participant found wearing a bib not assigned to them, or involved in transferring, buying, or selling race numbers, will face disqualification.
Punctuality: All participants must arrive at their designated start line corral on time. Climbing over barricades or entering the corral improperly will lead to disqualification. For safety reasons, once a corral is closed, latecomers must proceed to the next available corral.
Start Timing: Participants must begin the race within 15 minutes of their assigned start time. Failure to do so will result in disqualification, and no official result will be recorded for those participants.
Official Timing: Your official finish time will be accurately recorded by our timing system, starting from the moment you cross the starting line until you cross the finish line.
Top Finishers: The top finishers will be determined based on gun time, which is the time elapsed from the starting horn to when the runner crosses the finish line.
Stay on Course: Participants must remain within the designated course boundaries at all times, marked by barriers, traffic cones, and other indicators. Straying from the course may lead to disqualification.
Rejoining Prohibited: Once a participant leaves the course, they are not permitted to rejoin the race. This includes rejoining to collect finisher’s freebies or to assist another runner.
No Unofficial Pacers: Only officially designated pacers are allowed. Unofficial pacers or unregistered participants are strictly prohibited. Receiving assistance from anyone other than official medical personnel will result in disqualification.
To ensure safety and facilitate the timely reopening of streets, the race courses will close after the following cut-off times:
10K Race: 2 hours after the official start time.
5K Race: 1 hour after the official start time.
3K Race: 45 minutes after the official start time.
